My favorite thing about summer Fridays is that it opens up almost an entire day to hang around doing activities I normally wouldn't have time to do. A couple weeks ago I went to Brooklyn Heights with my friend to explore on a Friday afternoon. Although I live in Brooklyn now, I feel as though it's still mostly unfamiliar territory to me. Before the winter hits again (I am already dreading it) I'm making an effort to spend time in places I haven't before. Sometimes it's easy to forget that New York neighborhoods each feel so different. I loved the quaintness, peacefulness and easy going vibe in Brooklyn Heights and hopefully I can make time to go back soon.
