About a month ago my friend Elyse visited from Boston and we spent almost an entire day at the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens basking in the beautiful cherry blossoms. I had been stalking the cherry blossom tracker for weeks like an insane person, so when I saw they were about to be in a prime blossom status during her visit I begged her to go with me. Did anyone else know about the tracker? You can see it here although sadly, everything is in post bloom. We arrived at the Botanic Gardens super early and it was already packed (and apparently free at that time - is this normal?). Anyways, when we saw the blossoms we went nuts. Elyse and I can never pass up a good photo opportunity, and we were in our prime. But seriously, aren't they beautiful?
